Creamy Buttery Onions

 

* Creamy Buttery Onions *

 

Peel full sized white or yellow onions and slice in half.

Cut onion halves into thirds.

Cover with salted water, bring to a boil and simmer for about 20 min or until fork tender.

 

 

Drain off ALMOST all of the salted water, leaving behind 1/4 -1/2 cup of liquid.

Add 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream and salt/pepper to taste!

Serve with a healthy pat of butter!
